Stokesdale Elementary school is a refreshing departure from all the hustle and competitive nature of the bigger city counterpart.  The staff feels like family.  The teachers are outstanding. One of the staff lives across the street.

Bi Rite grocery store is only one mile away on highway 158.  There you find a very friendly country store atmosphere, competitive prices, a butcher, and every item has a price on it.  No scanners here.

You might have to fight to take your purchase to your car. Most of the time one of the hired help takes your purchases out for you... unless the manager himself is the one that does it.

Stokesdale has an old fashioned hardware store on 158 where you can park on the street and no parking meters. You can also find close by an ATM, a bank, an auto mechanic, tire store, convenience stores, a place to eat and more.
